Soulwood Workshop is a London-based studio creating handmade furniture and lighting. Rooted in carpentry and product design, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques such as CNC machining, laser cutting, and microcement experimentation.

Our practice spans bespoke microcement surfaces, handcrafted furniture, sculptural lighting and finely crafted wooden objects, all made with an emphasis on materiality, detail and longevity. Each piece is designed to be both functional and expressive — a quiet focal point within the space it occupies.

Founded by a designer and carpenter, Soulwood grew from a long-standing interest in furniture, architecture and product design. After studying graphic and product design, the studio's founder chose a career in carpentry, developing his craft through a wide variety of projects including shop, bar and restaurant fit-outs, theatre scenery, bespoke cabinetry, garden rooms and residential interiors.

Over time, that practical experience evolved into a desire to design and create original pieces rather than simply build those of others. Today, Soulwood combines that foundation in craftsmanship with a passion for experimentation, creating sculptural furniture and lighting inspired by natural and architectural forms.
